Open Source Goodies
I Love Freedom.AV Book Library - My first open source project. A light personal use book collection manager written in PHP. Check it out!
Docuwiki - A completely awesome Wiki engine that uses flat text files, no database. Easy to install and use, and tons of plugins. I love it and I'm currently using it for several purposes.
FileZilla - Everyone in need of a solid, feature rich FTP client needs to give FileZilla a try. I've been using it for years, and haven't had any problems.
FlySpray - I've been trying out this support bug tracking system written in PHP. After adding a custom theme and figuring out how the user permissions work, I'm liking it.
NetBeans IDE - A cross-platform, multi-language development IDE. I've been using it for PHP and web development and have been very happy so far. I find it lighter and faster than Eclipse.
phpBB - A nearly perfect Forum software- I'm amazed that it's free. Has most of the features of the commercial forums out there.
Ubuntu Linux - My first time trying something other than Windows, I really like Ubuntu so far. I just need to find a way to work around a couple small issues with installing it alongside Windows XP.
