This is a simple CAPTCHA script written in PHP. I was looking for something that was a small amount of code, looks good and is fairly customizable. So, I made this script by starting with CodeWalkers.com Simple PHP CAPTCHA, cleaning it up and adding some customization and more randomness like lines and noise. This script is so easy to plug into your existing apps. It doesn't get much simpler. It can even act as a base for developers interested in building a stronger, more random CAPTCHA. Free for any use provided you keep the readme.txt file with it, and intact. CAPTCHA difficulty (strength) is low to moderate.
Why is this free? Spammers get on my nerves. The more CAPTCHA options are out there and the easier it is for developers of all sizes to implement a CAPTCHA on their site, the better off we all are.
